Dear Trinity Band Family,
How fantastic was Saturday?? (ok, except for the blazing sun!) Thank you to everyone who played a part in the success of the day. Parents/Guardians/Alumni/Friends of the band – your generous gifts of food, time, love, and support are immeasurable and have contributed to lasting memories for the entire band family.
The Trojan Nation was out in force at Pennington Field Saturday night for the finals performance, and THS Principal Mr. Harris was waiting at the East Gate along with a long line of cheering fans as the band came off the field. What a way to finish UIL Area competition! As Mr. Casanova told the band, “You have arrived on the marching scene in the state of Texas!”
Congratulations, Trinity Trojan Marching Band!
Didn’t get to see the show? Go to the facebook page and take a look at our awesome kids: https://www.facebook.com/THSBand
If you want to see “Red” live, this week is your last chance! If Grandma, Aunt Susie, and Cousin Sam haven’t see the show yet either, invite them to the Richland game or Duncanville Marching Contest because “Red” will be retired after those performances. During playoffs, the band will perform a spirit show.

And the Star-Telegram ran a story about UIL Area contest (it doesn’t feature THS, but still, an article about marching bands in the local paper is always good!):
